Early Intensive Developmental & Behavioral Intervention

Intensive, individualized intervention that builds skills for children with autism and related conditions — at home and in the community.

What is EIDBI?

EIDBI is a Minnesota Health Care Programs benefit that provides intensive, individualized treatment for children and youth with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or a related condition. It focuses on building communication, social, behavioral, and daily-living skills — and reducing behaviors that interfere with learning and family life.

Services are delivered where your child lives and plays — primarily in the home and community — and are always guided by an individual treatment plan, with families as active partners.

Who it's for

  • Children and youth (under 21) with ASD or a related condition
  • Families seeking in-home, skill-building support
